Broadway and Theatre
MJ The Musical is playing at the Neil Simon Theatre.
Purpose by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and directed by Phylicia Rashad is playing until August 31.
Music
On July 10, Big Freedia will be performing at Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn.
On July 11, Laila!, Sasha Keable, and Talia Goddess will be performing at Harbert Von King Park in Brooklyn.
On July 20, The Roots will be performing at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens.
On July 27, there will be a concert in Central Park celebrating Quincy Jones and his work on The Wiz.
On July 27, Femi Kuti, Dead Prez, Rich Medina, and poet Maryam Bukar Hassan will be in Central Park.
Tyler, the Creator will be performing at Madison Square Garden on July 14, and also has dates in Brooklyn on July 17 and 18.
