With everyone excited to watch the Super Bowl tonight, which is taking place in New Orleans, a city rich in history, culture, and tradition, there is an unsung hero whose work you’ve seen but may not know her name. 26-year-old New Orleans artist Tahj Williams became the first person in Super Bowl History to handcraft the logo and theme art.

On Monday, May 5, celebrities from all around the world will descend on the Upper East Side at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala. This year the spring exhibition will be “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” displayed from May 10 until October 26. The dress code for the evening is “Tailored for You.” This week, the Met Gala host committee was announced and it is comprised of talented people across an array of fields. Some notable names include writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, director Spike Lee, and designer Dapper Dan. Athletes were also included like Simone Biles, Angel Reese, and She’Carri Richardson.
