This week Lewis Hamilton spoke in support of having a Grand Prix in Rwanda. There hasn't been an F1 race in Rwanda since 1997 and although there have been other motorsport races in Africa over the years, an F1 race would be the pinnacle of motorsports. Over the years F1 along with other motorsports has been making efforts to reach wider audiences. Africa is the only continent besides Antarctica that doesn't feature an F1 race, so a race on the continent is necessary and long overdue.

The World Cup is set to return to Africa for the first time since 2010 when it was in South Africa. It will be hosted by three countries in 2030 - Morocco, Spain, and Portugal. You can't have a World Cup without building a stadium or two and Morocco has unveiled designs for one of the world's largest stadiums. It will hold over 100,000 people and will resemble a large tent. Daily Paper, the Black-owned Amsterdam-based company has released its Fall Winter 2024 collection. As always, Daily Paper never disappoints. Daily Paper usually utilizes earth tones and always sticks to its roots of incorporating their iconic shield which is a modern interpretation of the Masaii shield. August Wilson is one of the most prolific playwrights in American history. With themes encompassing Black culture and life in America, his legacy has endured through the years. This week, the trailer for "The Piano Lesson" was released. This will be a film adaptation of his play by the same name. The Piano Lesson will be produced by Denzel Washington, directed by Malcolm Washington, and starring John David Washington, Samual L. Jackson, Danielle Deadwyler, and many more. The trailer features a piano rendition of "Strange Fruit" which was originally recorded in 1939 by Billie Holliday. Check out the trailer below.
