
Apple Music completed its list of the top 100 albums ever created. The list was announced on May 13 and 10 albums were released every day until it was complete. Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was crowned the greatest album of all time and Apple Music surprised her at an intimate dinner to congratulate her for this. The top 10 albums are below.

Lauryn received five Grammy Awards for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, including Album Of The Year, Best R&B Album, Best New Artist, Best R&B Song, and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
As with any list of this nature, a lot of debate ensued as the days passed. Fans saw albums they felt were far too low (Confessions by Usher was number 96), and noticed some iconic artists who weren't mentioned at all (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Johnny Cash, Aerosmith, Queen, and Frank Sinatra just to name a few). Hip-hop was the genre with the most albums on the list at about 20%, and R&B represented about 10% of the total list (see artists above that weren't mentioned).
